Salary: $100,000 - $150,000/year
What You'll Do- Lead structural engineering design and project management for building infrastructure projects.
- Design new structures using concrete, CMU, steel, wood, metal studs, and mass timber.
- Perform seismic evaluations, upgrades, and retrofit analyses using advanced modeling tools.
- Develop adaptive reuse strategies for existing structures.
- Prepare structural drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents.
- Provide construction administration support through site visits and quality assessments.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a key project contact.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters.
- Support project execution to ensure work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards.
- Participate in office initiatives, marketing efforts, and team growth discussions.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (or foreign equivalent).
- 5-10 years of structural engineering experience.
- California PE or SE license required.
- Experience with structural design, seismic evaluation, and project management.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, EnerCalc, SAFE, SpColumn, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards including CBC, CEBC, ASCE 7/41, ACI, AISC, NDS, and TMS.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
