Audubon is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Structural Engineer will design steel and concrete structures for industrial facilities, including pipe racks, equipment foundations, and support structures. You'll perform structural analysis, prepare design deliverables, and coordinate closely with other disciplines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design steel structures, pipe racks, platforms, and equipment/tank foundations
- Perform structural analysis using STAAD.Pro, RISA, or similar software
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and material specifications
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and civil disciplines on loads and interfaces
- Review shop drawings and support construction queries
- Ensure designs comply with AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, and project standards
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (PE or progress toward licensure a plus)
- 4-8 years of structural design experience in industrial or energy projects
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000)
- Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design codes
- Experience with foundation design, including vibrating equipment foundations
