Structural Engineer

Salary: $86,000-$101,000 annually
About the Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy, adaptable Structural Engineer (IE or PE I) to join a fast-paced design team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is looking for a clear path toward project management and client interaction.

In this role, you'll work on existing structures, building modifications, renovations, and new additions. You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, helping deliver practical engineering solutions in a collaborative, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing buildings and develop structural solutions for additions, renovations, and complex modifications.
  • Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis.
  • Review and mark up construction drawings.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance.
  • Respond to field questions and coordinate with vendors during construction.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize Excel-based tools, engineering software, and internal databases to support design and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and progressively take on direct communication with architects and clients.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to evaluate existing structures and observe construction progress.
