Structural Discipline Lead in Austin to help advance our technical excellence, develop our people, and support delivery of complex, high-impact projects.

This is an opportunity for a strong technical leader who wants to shape a discipline, mentor engineers, and play a key role in project success across a wide range of structural applications-from water infrastructure to commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
  • Lead structural analysis and design for a variety of projects
  • Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications
  • Ensure quality and consistency across deliverables
  • Provide guidance on complex design challenges
Project Management
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple concurrent projects
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders
Team Development
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers
  • Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
Client & Team Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with project teams and clients
  • Understand project needs and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to a culture of exceptional client service


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE)

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license
  • Project management experience
  • Experience supervising or mentoring staff
