Position Summary:

The Structural Analysis Engineer is responsible for performing detailed structural analyses of aircraft components and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company standards. This role supports the design, certification, and production of aerospace structures by evaluating strength, durability, and damage tolerance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analyses using classical methods and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Evaluate aircraft structures for strength, stability, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
  • Develop and review stress reports, technical documentation, and certification data.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to resolve structural issues.
  • Support product development from conceptual design through certification and production.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve structural discrepancies and in-service issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in structural or stress analysis (typically 2+ years for entry-level roles).
  • Knowledge of structural analysis principles and aerospace materials.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
