Job Overview

Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Director-level healthcare leader with deep experience in healthcare quality performance, clinical documentation integrity, hospital quality ratings, and patient safety improvement. This role is responsible for delivery and business development for new and existing client relationships. You will partner with provider organizations to assess current quality and clinical documentation performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop actionable strategies related to healthcare quality ratings, CSM Star scores, Leapfrog Safety Grade, Case Mix Index and accurate DRG documentation. Healthcare consulting experience is preferred, but candidates must have direct hospital-based experience in these areas.

Responsibilities
  • Sales: Maintaining and leading $3.5M - $5.0M in annual sales for quality and clinical documentation engagements
  • Oversee client engagements as the client-facing Director
  • Manage 6-8 full-time employees and 3-5 contractors at a time across 3-5 quality projects
  • Interpret complex quality analytic analysis and conduct analysis independently
  • Independently lead Assessments for quality and CDI performance
  • Mentor project teams and lead business development for the quality service line
  • Develop methodology internally to use for ongoing client engagements as the solutions evolve / grow

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, business, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Significant experience in a hospital or health system setting related to healthcare quality ratings, CSM scores, Leapfrog, and safety ratings is required. Experience operating at the consulting Director level is strongly preferred. Healthcare consulting experience and client-facing engagement leadership are preferred, but not required.
  • Preferred credentials: Relevant industry certifications or clinical credentials are a plus.
  • Healthcare quality and safety expertise: Deep knowledge of quality measurement methodologies, ratings programs, patient safety frameworks, and performance improvement strategies.


  • Strategic consulting and analytics: Strong ability to interpret complex healthcare data, synthesize insights, communicate recommendations to executive stakeholders, and drive measurable results in hospital operations or consulting environments.


  • Leadership and client relationship management: Proven ability to lead teams, manage senior client relationships, influence decision-making, and support business growth in a consulting environment.


  • Technology: Epic technical background and experience with Epic reporting and provider documentation workflows is preferred (Inpatient ClinDoc, Orders, Progress Notes Templates, OurPractice Advisories, SmartText, etc.)
