Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought partner for market and system teams on market entry and growth.
  • Contribute to advancing the Corporate Strategy team's growth objectives.
  • Develop frameworks for market entry and revenue diversification strategies.
  • Evaluate strategic growth opportunities with market leaders.
  • Assist Ministry Market Strategy Teams in setting growth goals and forecasts.
  • Manage execution and performance of growth initiatives.
  • Monitor business performance against strategic plans.
  • Incorporate industry dynamics into strategy design and execution.

Salary: $140,859.84 - $196,350.53 per year

Eligible for an annual bonus incentive

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Contribute to advancing the Corporate Strategy team's goals to deliver on Ascension's growth imperatives, vision, and mission.
  • Build frameworks and methodologies by which the Corporate Strategy Team will pursue market entry, access, and business transformation / revenue diversification opportunities.
  • Support National and Ministry Market leaders in strategic growth opportunity evaluation, including but not limited to: capital project evaluation, growth strategy design, new market evaluation, and revenue transformation/diversification assessments.
  • Be a thought partner for Ministry Market Strategy Teams in the development of strategic growth goals, volume & growth forecasting, and market growth opportunities.
  • Oversee execution and performance management of strategic growth initiatives.
  • Support management of progress-to-plan and monthly Ministry Market business performance.
  • Continually review, understand, and incorporate industry and competitive environment dynamics into strategy design and deployment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
    required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'
    degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those year
    being in leadership/management.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Prior corporate strategy experience within the healthcare space
  • Strategy and finance experience is a plus
  • 5 years of experience required; 10 years preferred
  • 3 or more years of leadership experience preferred
