We're looking for a Strategy Business Partner to help shape enterprise-wide priorities, guide executive decision-making, and lead strategic planning initiatives that drive meaningful organizational impact. In this role, you'll work directly with senior leaders, executives, and business partners across the organization to develop strategies, facilitate critical conversations, and translate vision into results.

What You'll DoDrive Enterprise Strategy- Lead the development and evolution of the organization's corporate strategic plan.
- Partner with executives and business leaders to identify priorities, clarify direction, and align initiatives with enterprise objectives.
- Translate strategic discussions into clear, actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Support executive-level strategic planning activities, presentations, briefing materials, and speaking notes.
Act as a Trusted Strategic Advisor- Build strong relationships with leaders across the organization and provide expert advice on strategic and operational challenges.
- Support business areas in developing multi-year business plans aligned to corporate objectives.
- Challenge assumptions, ask thoughtful questions, and provide evidence-based recommendations that influence key decisions.
- Help leaders navigate ambiguity, evaluate options, and identify the path forward.
Facilitate High-Impact Workshops- Design and lead engaging workshops for executives and leadership teams focused on strategy, alignment, innovation, and problem solving.
- Use strategic planning tools and methodologies such as SWOT analysis, gap analysis, scenario planning, environmental scans, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions, build consensus, and guide teams toward practical solutions.
- Transform workshop outcomes into actionable strategies and implementation plans.
Lead Strategic Analysis and Performance Monitoring- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities, risks, emerging trends, and strategic challenges.
- Evaluate organizational performance against strategic objectives and key performance measures.
- Monitor changes in the external environment and assess their impact on organizational priorities.
- Develop insights and recommendations that support evidence-based decision-making.
Foster Innovation and Collaboration- Build relationships with external partners and strategy professionals to bring new ideas and leading practices into the organization.
- Represent the organization at conferences, forums, and professional networks.
- Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement through research, knowledge sharing, and strategic dialogue.

Education and Experience- University degree in public administration, business, law, or economics
- 5 years progressive experience in strategic planning, managing stakeholders or WSIB business or policy experience with demonstrated ability to identify issues, understand the impact on WSIB objectives and business processes, and assessing the implications involved in making changes.
- 3 years of experience leading research and analysis and/or planning.
- Formal project management training or related experience.
- Advanced level of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge and experience with strategic planning models, methods, and best practices.
- Proven experience using analytical and problem-solving techniques and methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating corporate changes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Political acumen and diplomacy.
