Description

Seeking an experienced Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead complex supply chain initiatives supporting our global design and manufacturing operations. This role will oversee strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and supply chain execution while partnering closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of global supply markets, experience leading complex negotiations, and the ability to drive results across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic sourcing and supplier selection for complex programs and commodities.
  • Direct commodity management activities and negotiations to support business requirements and growth plans.
  • Manage supply chain activities from materials pricing and BOM analysis through delivery execution and supply flexibility.
  • Lead negotiations for high-value and strategic commodities.
  • Analyze customer bids and quarterly BOM costing exercises.
  • Partner with Global Design teams to optimize products for supply chain performance.
  • Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with key suppliers.
  • Support quarterly business reviews with customers and strategic suppliers.
  • Identify and resolve supplier, cost, availability, and supply chain performance issues.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • 7+ years of relevant supply chain experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic commodities, industry pricing, technology, supply/demand dynamics, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex supplier and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, procurement, customers, and suppliers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
