About this positionSeeScan is seeking a Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Specialist to lead complex sourcing initiatives and manage supplier performance across both new product development and existing production.
This is not a transactional purchasing role. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to source complex components, develop suppliers, and drive cost, quality, and lead time improvements.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is
$85,000 to
$100,000 annually.
This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will - Partner with engineering and manufacturing to support new and existing products
- Source complex, engineered components and identify capable suppliers
- Evaluate and improve existing supplier performance
- Develop new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply base
- Lead RFQs, negotiations, and supplier selection
- Resolve technical and supply challenges impacting production
- Drive cost savings and lead time improvements
- Manage multiple priorities in a project-driven environment
- Maintain regular onsite presence to facilitate direct engagement with cross-functional teams and operations
Your background - Experience sourcing complex components in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience working with engineering teams
About you - Able to work with incomplete information and shifting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and operate independently
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Able to manage complex purchasing scenarios where standard processes do not apply
