Full Job Description
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Director to join our team. The Strategic Sales Director will be responsible for new client/revenue acquisition, specifically targeting potential customers in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services and insurance.

You will manage complex, high dollar, strategic sales processes with C-level individuals. You are responsible for delivering predictable and reliable sales performance through territory development, exceptional discovery, sales process advancement, deal strategy, business case co-creation and closing skills. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate on opportunities and provide feedback to the marketing and product team.

This individual contributor role is focused on generating new business in an emerging, high-growth market segment with an emphasis on prospecting, discovery and effective qualification techniques. As a part of your role you will be tasked with accelerating the market awareness of RadarFirst within your geography in the market. This will include public speaking events, networking, participation in industry groups and establishing relationships with influencers in the market.

This position can be based out of our HQ in Portland, OR, or remote from anywhere in the U.S. Priority for East Coast location.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Strategic new logo customer acquisition within an assigned territory
  • Specifically, self-sourcing prospects and leveraging your own skill set and networking to initiate evaluations of the RadarFirst platform
  • Propel revenue growth by meeting and exceeding quota
  • Gain access and establish credibility with F100 C-level executives
  • Grow awareness through public speaking events, networking, participation in industry groups, and establishing relationships with influencers in the market
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process; ensure CRM (SalesForce) records are kept current
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning
  • Ensure effective handoff of new client at the close of the sales process
  • Become recognized as a subject matter expert in the company's business space
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards


Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of SaaS-based enterprise software field sales experience, with a specific focus on strategic & complex sales cycles targeting global F100 companies
  • Ability to quickly gain trust & establish credibility with a discerning buyer group
  • Adept at managing multiple stakeholders, business case co-creation and facilitating onsite workshops
  • Experience using MEDDICC, JOLT Effect framework & Challenger Sales methodology
  • Proven track record selling enterprise SaaS software solutions in a startup or growth environment with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can operate independently
  • Exceptional active listening abilities
  • Strong curiosity and an interest in learning customer's needs
  • Effective skills in delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and conceptual and analytical abilities
  • Experience selling enterprise software in the financial services, insurance, and healthcare industries
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo while gaining the customer's trust and respect

The salary range for this role is $120k-$135k plus incentive compensation.
