Under the leadership of the Strategic Account Leader (SAL), the Strategic Program Leader (SPL) serves as the primary liaison between the Amazon business account team and Bridgestone's technology, product, operations, and support organizations. With a strong presence working directly with the customers technology and data integrations teams.
The SPL is responsible for translating customer business requirements into actionable technology, data integrations, and process solutions that support Amazon's fleet operations and our dealers’ operations. This role requires an intimate understanding of Amazon's fleet operations, expectations, data processes, and strategic objectives to ensure Bridgestone initiatives, tools, and capabilities align with the customer's evolving needs. Equally important is a working understanding of dealer operations to ensure technology solutions are practical, scalable and drive adoption when requested from Amazon.
The SPL supports the SAL on the voice of the customer internally with our technology teams for Toolbox and BI, advocating for Amazon's operational requirements while helping internal teams understand the business impact of technology decisions, product enhancements, and process changes. The role also serves as a trusted advisor to the SAL by providing guidance on technology initiatives ensuring decisions support Amazon’s evolving needs while also fitting in operational processes of our dealers.
Success in this position requires strong business acumen, technical aptitude, cross-functional working ability, and the ability to influence without direct authority across multiple organizations.
** The anticipated annual salary range for this full-time position would be $100,000 - $110,000, based on experience and qualifications **
Nashville, TN is the preferred location for this role; however, the position is remote and candidates throughout the United States are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be within reasonable proximity to a major airport and be willing to travel as needed to support customer, dealer, and business needs. Up to approx. 25% travel.
- Coaches and works with Peer Strategic Operations Leaders (SOLs) at the direction of the (SAL).
- Serve as the primary conduit between the Strategic Account team and internal technology, product management, engineering, analytics, and support teams.
- Translate customer operational requirements into documented business requirements, user stories, process flows, and technology enhancement requests.
- Ensure strategic initiatives and technology solutions align with Amazon's business objectives and operational needs.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions between customer stakeholders and internal development teams.
- Drive alignment between business strategy, operational execution, and technology roadmaps. Oversee timelines and commitments of cross functional teams
- Responsible for leveraging internal BCS IT offerings
- Manage cost performance management including tire Cost per mile, tire cost per unit, tire cost as percent of revenue
- Build strong business relationships and partnerships with assigned fleet(s)
- Partner directly with servicing dealer network to assure support of technology issues
- Resolve data and technology issues and seeks opportunities at Strategic Account
- Collect and report competitive TBR/retread market information
- Attend and play an active role in customer/industry associations
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in management, sales, or related field.
- Position requires previous commercial or consumer tire industry experience.
- One to three years of field sales, sales management, technical support, operations, financial analysis support, or relevant tire related experience
- Knowledge of tire management tools, and BASys Manufacturing & Fleet Inventory systems is desired
- Must have working knowledge of core computer applications- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook as well as basic understandings of profit and loss statements.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Mechanical aptitude or technical ability preferred, but not required.
- Basic truck tire and/or maintenance experience desired.
