Help drive critical infrastructure projects while building strong supplier partnerships and delivering strategic procurement excellence.

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, procurement, and contract administration activities for major utility, energy, infrastructure, and capital construction programs. In this client-facing role, you will develop procurement strategies, manage competitive bid processes, support supplier selection and contract administration, and ensure procurement compliance across complex projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative professional who enjoys influencing business outcomes, navigating complex procurement challenges, and working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies for major capital projects.
  • Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, ITBs, and other competitive sourcing events from planning through award recommendation.
  • Coordinate supplier outreach, bid evaluations, negotiations, and procurement governance activities.
  • Conduct commercial analyses, bid comparisons, supplier assessments, and market benchmarking.
  • Support contract administration, supplier performance management, and procurement reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, supply chain constraints, and long-lead equipment challenges.
  • Maintain audit-ready procurement documentation and support compliance reviews, audits, and funding requirements.
  • Partner closely with project, engineering, construction, legal, commercial, and client teams.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract administration, or capital project delivery.
  • Experience supporting utility, energy, infrastructure, construction, industrial, transmission, distribution, generation, or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of competitive bidding, supplier evaluations, procurement governance, and contract administration.
  • Experience developing solicitation documents, evaluation methodologies, and award recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large capital programs, public procurements, or federally funded projects.
  • Knowledge of procurement compliance, audits, and governance requirements.
  • Experience working within PMO, PMOC, CMOC, EPC, or Owner's Engineer environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CPPB, PMP, SCMP, or similar credentials.

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays between $120,000 and $155,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
