Strategic Planning Manager

Scottsdale, Arizona | Reports to the Chief Strategic Planning Officer

Build the future of UNACEM North America

We are looking for a strategic and analytical leader to join UNACEM North America as Strategic Planning Manager, a key position responsible for leading the company's long-term strategy, strategic initiatives, business priorities, and the organization's OKR system.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Executive Committee and senior management, contributing to critical decisions related to growth, capital investments, commercial strategy and business performance in North America.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual and long-term strategic planning process of UNACEM North America.
  • Collaborate with senior management in the definition and monitoring of strategic priorities and OKRs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate capital investments and business cases that drive long-term value creation.
  • Support the development and monitoring of the commercial strategy.
  • Facilitate cross-functional strategic initiatives and align different stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and executive presentations for senior management, the Board and UNACEM Group.

Minimum requirements

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Background in manufacturing, building materials, cement, mining, industrial, or capital-intensive environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
