Job Title: Strategic Operations Lead, Office of the CEO
About the RoleWe're looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused operator to work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff on the company's most critical priorities.
You'll sit at the center of the business, driving cross-functional initiatives, supporting company-wide planning and operating cadence, and ensuring leadership has the insights needed to make fast, high-quality decisions.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role - you will move between strategy and execution, turning ambiguity into structured plans, driving accountability across teams, and surfacing insights that shape company direction.
What You'll Be DoingDrive strategic initiatives- Support and lead high-priority, cross-functional projects on behalf of the CEO
- Partner with leaders across Product, GTM, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment and execution
- Break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, milestones, and deliverables
- Conduct deep dives and ad hoc analysis on strategic and operational topics
Run operating cadence and planning- Support the company's operating rhythm, including weekly leadership meetings and follow-ups
- Assist in quarterly planning cycles, including OKR tracking and alignment across teams
- Track progress against company priorities, identifying risks and gaps early
- Work across teams to unblock issues and maintain execution momentum
Own reporting and business insights- Own the weekly reporting process, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and actionable
- Build and maintain core dashboards and tracking frameworks across the business
- Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps, escalating insights to the CEO and Chief of Staff
Enable CEO and leadership team- Prepare high-quality briefing materials for leadership meetings, board discussions, and external engagements
- Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable outputs
- Act as a thought partner to the Chief of Staff on priorities, focus areas, and execution
About You- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup environment
- Strong problem-solving ability with a track record of structuring ambiguous problems into actionable plans
- Highly analytical, with experience in building models, dashboards, and synthesizing data into insights
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across senior leaders
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a high degree of ownership
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear narratives
- High attention to detail and a bias for action, with a focus on delivering outcomes

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.
Salary Range
$160,000-$280,000 USD
