About the role:

If you love building strong client partnerships, leading global teams, and making complex meeting programs run smoothly, this role is made for you. As an Account & Operations Manager, you'll be the go-to strategic partner for assigned global account(s), turning client goals into smart plans and consistent results. You'll help shape account strategy, oversee service delivery across markets, and drive financial and operational performance with a proactive, consultative approach. It's a high-impact role for someone who enjoys connecting the dots, solving problems early, and creating great experiences for clients and teams alike.

You're Good At

  • Building trusted client relationships and acting as a proactive, consultative partner who spots needs, risks, and opportunities early
  • Turning business objectives into clear account plans, service strategies, and measurable results across global markets
  • Leading meeting operations with a sharp focus on quality, consistency, process improvement, and customer experience
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, invoicing, profitability, and performance reporting with strong financial judgment
  • Coaching teams and service partners to work collaboratively, stay accountable, and deliver responsive, high-quality support


You Might Also Have

  • Experience managing national or global accounts within the meetings and events industry
  • Strong knowledge of strategic meetings management operations and meetings technology
  • Confidence leading contract discussions, service-level performance, and client review presentations
  • Skill in partnering across functions, including Finance, supplier teams, BCD Travel, and Advito, to deliver connected solutions
  • A college degree or equivalent industry experience, plus fluency in business English

  • This role supports global account(s) across multiple locations and markets.
  • This role requires up to 30% travel annually.
  • This role operates on Easter Standard business hours.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:25% to 50%

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Strategic Meetings & Events Operations and Account Manager is between $75,000 - $120,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
