This role will generate deep patient, physician, and market insights and translate them into actionable strategies that inform marketing investments, commercialization, and future portfolio decisions.

This individual will serve as a strategic insights partner across the IVS business, connecting customer and market insights with business needs and ensuring insights are translated into meaningful action across functions. The role will work across upstream and downstream marketing activities, partnering closely with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, R&D, Digital, and global marketing partners to support evidence-based decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead patient and physician market research strategy, including ATU, PET, voice-of-customer research, segmentation, persona development, and other qualitative and quantitative research; manage external research partners and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Develop and manage an integrated IVS market insights and learning agenda by identifying critical business questions and knowledge gaps, prioritizing research initiatives, and aligning insights investments with key business priorities.
  • Synthesize patient, physician, competitive, clinical, market, and technology insights across multiple sources to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, growth opportunities, and strategic implications; translate findings into actionable recommendations for positioning, market development, commercialization, and future portfolio decisions.
  • Develop clinical marketing strategies and partner with Clinical and Medical Affairs to translate scientific evidence, clinical data, and customer insights into compelling positioning, messaging, education, and marketing strategies.
  • Support upstream marketing, product development, and portfolio strategy through opportunity assessments, voice-of-customer research, market and competitive analysis, product positioning, and identification of unmet customer needs; contribute customer and market insights to cross-functional product development teams as appropriate.
  • Support downstream commercialization of the existing and future IVS portfolio by applying market and customer insights to positioning, messaging, launch planning, market development, patient conversion, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Design and execute physician and KOL insight-generation activities, including advisory boards and other qualitative research, and translate findings into actionable marketing, clinical, commercial, and portfolio recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, R&D, Digital, upstream and downstream Marketing, and global partners to align strategic priorities, communicate insights, influence decision-making, and ensure insights are effectively applied across the business. Manage external agencies, market research vendors, and strategic partners as appropriate to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

  • Experience with physician and patient research, segmentation, persona development, voice-of-customer research, or customer journey mapping.
