Job Summary:

Provides essential operational and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of assigned key initiatives related to Geisinger Strategic Initiatives. This person serves project manager and coordinates cross-functional projects and processes, manages timelines, and facilitates communication among stakeholders.

Job Duties:

  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives. Maintain master calendar of milestones and meetings. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Maintain awareness of other performance improvement work and strategic projects to create opportunities for cross-team visibility and communication alignment.
    • Project coordination and management including vendor management / oversight and project planning
    • Versed in problem solving and thinking outside the box to come up with solutions when faced with obstacles in completing tasks
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to portfolio of initiatives, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating meeting material production, documenting minutes, and action item resolution.
    • Coordinate and schedule meetings ensuring meetings are in the right order and have the correct participants across multiple organizations
    • Coordinate and schedule site visits as necessary
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison and key point of contact between Geisinger strategy, project leads for strategic action portfolio work, economic development, and various stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project progress, issues, and requirements. Anticipates needs for projects and meetings and communicates with those involved to ensure the success of all projects and meetings.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, provide updates, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Information & Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report on information related to strategic initiatives, progress and issues. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • The Strategic Initiatives project manager will be working with senior executives and must possess a professional demeanor.
