Full Job Description
Strategic Initiative Officer, Senior
The Opportunity:

Strategic initiatives succeed when content is discoverable, data is governed, and execution is measured. As a Strategic Initiative Officer, you'll help translate enterprise strategy into action, improving how geospatial content is accessed, how requirements and data architectures are managed, and how performance is tracked and communicated. In this role, you'll support enterprise content and data management initiatives while coordinating operational planning and integration activities across staff offices and mission partners. You'll assess content discoverability and accessibility, contribute to strategic business plans, and prepare planning documents, standard operating procedures, briefings, and other materials that support coordinated execution.

You'll help manage requirements and data architecture artifacts, establish best practices and repeatable processes, and maintain traceability between requirements, products, and mission outcomes. You'll also define and analyze performance metrics, recommend actions and process improvements, and help align staff documentation with national security priorities, Intelligence Community and Department of Defense directives, strategic planning guidance, and other applicable policies.

You'll participate in enterprise and division level forums, document decisions, and coordinate follow-up actions through completion. Under government direction, you'll also serve as an interface among customers, mission partners, and source providers. Your ability to communicate clearly, analyze complex information, and connect strategic objectives to measurable execution will be essential to advancing the mission.

Work with us to strengthen how enterprise GEOINT content and data support mission decisions.

You Have:

  • Experience with Intelligence Community data and product types, missions, and functions, including GEOINT requirements and production processes
  • Experience using standard business applications for presentations, word processing, and spreadsheet analysis
  • Experience using spreadsheets to integrate, analyze, and clearly present data and performance metrics
  • Experience developing complex Microsoft Excel formulas to extract and analyze information from large datasets
  • Experience performing data-quality analysis, preparation, cleansing, formatting, and transformation
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal products and coordinate with executives, managers, mission partners, and team members at all organizational levels
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience supporting strategic initiatives, requirements management, data analysis, or mission planning or 8+ years of experience supporting strategic initiatives, requirements management, data analysis, or mission planning in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience using Esri ArcMap or other GIS tools to extract, analyze, and relate geospatial data to performance metrics and other information sources
  • Experience configuring or managing ArcGIS Enterprise capabilities, including ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, Web Maps, and Sites
  • Experience with enterprise geodatabase architecture and Survey123, including Survey123 Connect and XLSForms
  • Experience defining future data requirements and leading prioritization processes informed by NSG-level guidance
  • Experience supporting the prioritization and coordination of production requirements from Combatant Commands, military services, and external agencies
  • Experience aligning plans, requirements, and supporting documentation with higher-level directives and policy guidance
  • Experience establishing or improving intake, prioritization, change-control, document-governance, and related business processes
  • Knowledge of national security planning and prioritization frameworks, including the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan and National Intelligence Priorities Framework
  • Ability to read and interpret Python, including Jupyter Notebooks, HTML, and Arcade to troubleshoot, maintain, or document GIS applications and workflows
  • Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills for complex mission and organizational challenges

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
