Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to program work and seven years of relevant experience, including two years in a management role, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience developing statewide or regional lactation programs.
• Expertise in strategic planning, quality improvement, and lactation program evaluation, preferably in Georgia or the Southeast.
• Demonstrated excellence in health professional education and curriculum development in breastfeeding/human lactation.
• Strong project management and budget administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic planning and implementation of the Georgia Breastfeeding Medicine Program.
• Plan, administer, and monitor program budgets.
• Develop short- and long-term goals and objectives in collaboration with the physician director.
• Oversee special projects associated with CHOA/Emory School of Medicine.
• Represent the program at national and international venues as needed.
• Manage funding solicitation from various donors, including foundations and government.
• Collaborate with external organizations for program support.
• Establish and enforce program policies and procedures.
• Supervise and guide staff members.
