Kearney & Company is seeking a highly skilled DoW Strategic Communications Senior Consultant to join our team supporting one of the Federal government's largest agencies! Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the developed of Department of the Navy (DON) strategic communications with a target on executive audiences.
• Developing a structure to support the management of large complex teams that facilitates: prioritizing activities, meeting established deadlines, working closely with the client and Kearney team, seeking out and providing value-added services
• Integrating multiple functional work streams into a cohesive team
• Understanding the end-to-end strategic communication in the DON and DON environment and supporting the crafting of policies, memos and other strategic communications that are effective at both the working and executive level
• Working closely with and communicating the status of project tasks/goals to the client and Kearney team
• Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills as significant time is spent drafting/updating communication artifacts
• Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines
• Directing and reviewing the work of Consultants and Senior Associates
• Communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead and client
• Driving improvements to achieve engagement goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university with a degree in a relevant field of study
• Minimum 15 years of progressive, relevant experience
• Experience working with DoW clients or agencies
• Experience in DoW financial statement auditing, audit remediation, or audit readiness
• Proficient skills in MS Excel and other data analytics tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. Secret (or higher, such as Top Secret or TS/SCI) security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience structing large diverse originations
• Experience leading and implementing process improvement efforts within a Military service
• Experience managing complex teams and structuring the executive leadership strategy for large complex organizations
• Experience developing and delivering strategic messaging and communications
• Experience working with the United States Navy or United States Marine Corps

Overview

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
