MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented XE Strategic Communications Lead to join our team in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Implement and facilitate strategic communications in support of DoD customer, enabling strategic, operational, and tactical communication efforts to enhance internal and external messaging and outreach.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing communication initiatives, including public relations, special events management, advertising, and brand awareness.
  • Develop and maintain communication standards across multiple channels such as periodicals, web services, publications, presentations, and digital platforms.
  • Support the development and distribution of news and informational content for internal and external audiences.
  • Produce and disseminate communications products and services in accordance with applicable service level agreements.
  • Assist the Public Affairs Office in documenting strategic, operational, and tactical engagements.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures to support operational efficiency and continuity of operations.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic communications or a similar field, 8-10 years with a BA/BS, or 6-8 years with an MA/MS/MBA.
  • Demonstrated experience in Intelligence or Cyberspace communications.
  • Experience applying Federal and/or DoW/DoD policies and procedures.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing digital platforms and web services to amplify strategic messaging and outreach.
  • Demonstrated capability in orchestrating high-visibility special events and comprehensive brand awareness campaigns within a defense environment.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex intelligence or cyberspace concepts into clear, impactful publications and presentations for senior leadership.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess an active Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and related equipment.
  • Must frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, and you must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $142,200.00-$254,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
