Responsibilities:
Develop and update strategic planning templates and communications.
Update strategic roadmap & assigned strategic dashboards/tracking mechanisms.
Define strategic planning processes, priorities, capabilities, measures of success, etc. Includes cadence and timing of various inputs/outputs; coordinate development of this process with the PMO and other functional leads.
Coordinate with peers across the organization (including the PMO as a key stakeholder) to develop and execute a holistic strategic planning process.
Identify integrations and establish contacts across the organization to align efforts and plan implementation.
Assist with escalated issues on priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives.
Prepare presentations for delivery to specific audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Five years of strategic planning experience in a similar environment or in a planning/consultant role.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization to influence others towards strategic goals.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to plan strategy, tactics and perform root-cause analysis.
Familiarity with project management tools, lifecycles, etc.
Proficiency using MS Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance/financial services experience.
Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma methodology
Knowledge of Claims applications
Understanding of ServiceNow and/or other ticketing systems
Working Conditions:
Hybrid office environment: 3 days in office (Cedar Rapids, IA or Denver, CO)
Occasional travel to attend strategic planning sessions (less than 10%)
Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between$83,000 - $94,000 annually.Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors includingqualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company27s discretion.
