Description

SAIC is seeking a Strategic and Organizational Planner in McLean, VA to support our customer in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with broad impact to the customer's mission. This role requires a strong problem solver to support the goals and needs of the customer and their mission partners within a constantly evolving technology landscape. The ideal candidate will engage in inter-agency integration and planning efforts, provide support for strategic briefings and direct senior leadership planning sessions, and facilitate both strategic and tactical deconfliction. The successful candidate will be an energetic strategic professional who can support fast-moving and wide-ranging projects and initiatives. CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.
  • Lead inter-agency integration and planning efforts to support customer programs
  • Assist in the development of strategic briefings and actively participate in high-level planning sessions with senior leadership
  • Facilitate both strategic and tactical operational deconfliction to ensure mission alignment and effectiveness
IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is for a contingent offer and is dependent upon a pending contract award. SAIC is currently pursuing this opportunity, and employment is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to SAIC and your ability to meet the required qualifications. Please note that the selected candidate must be available to begin work within 30 days of the contract award.

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered
  • Bachelor's and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a complex or dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with interagency partners to integrate a wide range of capabilities and resources
  • Experience overseeing and managing complex programs
  • Exceptional skill in building and sustaining relationships with key partners and organizations
  • Demonstrated experience with DoW or the IC
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Possess strong analytic, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent communications and customer services skills along with the ability to coordinate effectively within and external to the customer organization
