Job Description

SAIC is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic and Organizational Planner to join our team in Chantilly, VA, providing critical support to our customer in a fast-paced dynamic environment that directly impacts the success of their mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives on making a tangible difference.

The Sponsor requires support to manage its mission, which includes coordinating initiatives, facilitating meetings across its organization. This includes analyzing and prioritizing organizational efforts, supporting resource allocation and decision-making processes and developing approaches and tools to evaluate performance with a strategic mindset. Additionally, the role involves guiding and supporting the development of goals and strategies to enhance the efficiency of business operations. It also includes streamlining documentation and interactions to foster collaboration with stakeholders through in-person discussions, emails, and official reports. These tasks are critical to meeting the goals and needs of the Sponsor and its partners in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is for a contingent offer and is dependent upon a pending contract award. SAIC is currently pursuing this opportunity, and employment is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to SAIC and your ability to meet the required qualifications. Please note that the selected candidate must be available to begin work within 30 days of the contract award.

Qualifications

  • Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH in order to be considered for this position
  • Bachelor degree in related field
  • Minimum seven (7) years of related experience
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to create and refine strategic plans.
  • Outline key priorities, explore growth opportunities, and lead planning discussions.
  • Analyze organizational structure and suggest improvements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Oversee progress, provide leadership updates, and drive cross-team coordination on strategic initiatives.
