Description

SAIC is looking for a Senior Policy Analyst to provide support conducting qualitative analyses on large data sets. This position requires the ability to collaborate across a diverse workforce to achieve objectives. This Performance Requirement includes:
  • Assisting Department in conducting strategic analysis of internal and external assessment data to DoD critical missions to identify systemic vulnerabilities based on a broad array of threats to DoD installations, sites, critical infrastructure, and assets.
  • Collecting, analyzing, correlating, and interpreting data using quantitative and qualitative methods; presenting data to the Department for the purpose of highlighting trends.
  • Using integrated relational computer systems to create and access database files and preparing charts, graphs, and exhibits.
  • Conducting comprehensive research projects, including assisting with programs evaluation studies and other administrative studies as assigned.
  • Compiling, updating, and managing all-program data and producing the Department's annual report.
  • Conducting special projects and presenting unbiased data based solely on trend and statistical information.
    Effectively communicating to senior leadership through briefings, written/verbal correspondence, and other means as necessary, that can be understood at multiple levels.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's and 10 years or more of related experience.
  • Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Background or experience with regard to combating weapons of mass destruction.
  • Experience with working with large DoD organizations.
  • Experience conducting qualitative analysis on large data sets, especially for patterns or relationships.
  • Proficient research and analytical skills.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite.
Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience with DTRA programs, specifically within DTRA Nuclear Enterprise.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with a diverse client base.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve in a time constrained environment.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
