Strategic Analyst, AI & Banking Technology

B2B Banking & Credit Technology | Emerging Technology

Overview

The B2B Banking & Credit Technology ecosystem supports the full client lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding through credit adjudication, deal execution, funding, servicing, and reporting. This environment spans a highly integrated and regulated landscape of in-house platforms, vendor solutions, and cross-functional business domains.

We are seeking a high-impact Strategic Analyst to drive AI, automation, and process transformation initiatives across this ecosystem. This role is designed for a curious, execution-oriented leader who is energized by emerging technology and actively stays ahead of the evolving AI landscape.

This is a hands-on delivery role, not a coordination function. The successful candidate will take ownership of outcomes, drive clarity in ambiguous situations, and execute across multiple concurrent initiatives with a high bar for quality, speed, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership & Execution

  • Lead delivery across complex initiatives by actively managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and decision points to ensure consistent progress
  • Take end-to-end ownership of workstreams, driving execution and ensuring alignment to business outcomes
  • Navigate ambiguity and remove blockers to maintain forward momentum across initiatives

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as a connector between business, technology, and vendor teams to align priorities and drive progress
  • Translate business needs into structured, actionable inputs for technical teams
  • Ensure stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and aligned throughout delivery

AI, Automation & Transformation

  • Identify and advance opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve processes and outcomes
  • Bring forward ideas, use cases, and practical applications grounded in business context
  • Stay current with AI tools, trends, and capabilities, and apply them meaningfully within the organization

Analysis & Structured Problem-Solving

  • Break down complex or ambiguous problems into clear, executable components
  • Analyze data, workflows, and processes to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Apply strong domain knowledge (Commercial Lending, Credit Risk, Capital Markets) to inform solutioning and prioritization

Artifacts & Executive Communication

  • Develop clear, concise, and executive-ready deliverables (presentations, briefings, summaries)
  • Produce core artifacts including requirements, process maps, workflows, and documentation
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders on progress, risks, and next steps

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Strong domain exposure to Commercial Lending, Credit Risk, Capital Markets, or banking platforms (required)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technology delivery (requirements, testing, implementation, SDLC)
  • Proven ability to operate independently and drive work to completion in fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing multiple priorities with evolving scope and ambiguity
  • Strong track record of producing high-quality, executive-ready deliverables

Skills & Competencies

  • AI & Emerging Technology Mindset
Actively explores and applies AI tools, trends, and innovations
  • Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of how banking and credit processes translate into technology solutions
  • Execution & Ownership
Drives outcomes with accountability, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Structured Thinking
Ability to decompose complex problems into actionable steps
  • Communication
Clear, concise, and proactive across both business and technical audiences
  • Adaptability
Thrives in evolving, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
  • Time & Priority Management
    Effectively manages multiple concurrent workstreams

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Highly curious and driven to understand how systems, processes, and technologies work
  • Actively engaged in learning and applying AI beyond immediate job responsibilities
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving clarity where it does not exist
  • Operates with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Thrives in high-performance environments with elevated expectations and autonomy
