Key job responsibilities
Strategic Accounts is growing its account management teams in Seattle. Strategic Account Representatives work on behalf of the account team developing new relationships and workloads in business units and lines-of-business. The ideal candidate will possess sales and technical capabilities to advise customers on AWS solutions, grow usage, and maintain relationships. This includes a deep understanding of AI and agentic platforms, and the ability to articulate how AI capabilities translate to business outcomes. You will own the full sales cycle working cross-functionally with the extended team, translating technical concepts into language that resonates with executive decision-makers and knowing when to bring in the right expert at the right moment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of direct field experience selling software, AI, or cloud solutions experience
- Experience with Data & AI-driven customer engagement solutions
- Designing and executing complex deal strategies
- Supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance companies
- Communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
- The ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- A proven ability to orchestrate multi-stakeholder deals - internally and externally - with exceptional communication, follow-through, and discipline
- A proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets within a technical sales environment.
- Willingness to travel ~25%
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology sales
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading horizontal or cross-account initiatives
- Gathering, distilling, and processing complex market intelligence
- Strong technical selling skills including the ability to explain AI models, agentic platforms, and solutions to non-technical clients and how AI capabilities and solutions can translate to business outcomes
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
