Full Job Description
Step into a high-impact role at the forefront of a paradigm shift in electrical infrastructure. Panduit is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth for our Fault Managed Power System (FMPS) portfolio. This isn't just a sales role; it is an evangelist position. You will be responsible for disrupting traditional power distribution models, overcoming the inertia of "how it's always been done," and securing high-level executive buy-in for a "new-to-world" technology. You will sit at the table with MEPs, IT Consultants, GCs, and Fortune 500 leaders to solve complex infrastructure challenges with Panduit's Class 4 power solutions.

What You Will Do
  • Strategic Overlay: Act as the elite "closer" and strategist for the broader sales organization. You will not just support deals; you will design the "Big Picture" strategy.
  • Executive Engagement: Navigate complex stakeholder maps-from MEP consultants and general contractors to CTOs-to drive adoption of FMPS. You must be able to translate Fault Managed Power benefits into business ROI and operational safety.
  • Market Creation: Leverage your existing professional network to build an independent sales pipeline. You will move beyond existing channels to find new opportunities across multiple verticals.
  • Overcome Innovation Barriers: Proactively address and dismantle technical, regulatory, and risk obstacles related to new technology adoption (NEC 726, UL 1400-1).
  • Compelling Value Engineering: Author and deliver high-stakes proposals that justify FMPS through TCO analysis, real-estate reclamation, and labor-cost reduction.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain an impeccable level of professional presence. You are the "face of FMP," ensuring that every customer interaction elevates Panduit's reputation for innovation and reliability.

What You Will Bring
  • The "New Tech" Pedigree: A proven track record of successfully introducing and selling disruptive or "new-to-world" technologies. You know how to cross the "chasm" from early adopters to the mainstream.
  • Power & IT Fluency: 2-5 years of experience in high-level power products (UPS, PDUs, or specialized distribution) and IT infrastructure. You must be able to hold your own in a room full of electrical engineers and MEPs.
  • The Consultant's Mindset: You focus on long-term strategy over short-term tactics. You are capable of building a "Sales Playbook" that the rest of the organization can trust and follow.
  • Independence: The ability to prospect and close without relying on legacy channel leads. You bring your own network of influencers in the MEP and IT consulting space.
  • Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the gravitas required to influence decision-makers at the highest levels of a target organization.

What We Can Offer You
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits: Enjoy a robust Total Rewards Program that includes health, financial benefits, and more.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible work options to help you achieve the perfect work-life balance. This role is 100% remote.
  • Generous Time Off: Take advantage of our generous vacation, sick days, holidays, plus a volunteer day to give back to the community.
  • Retirement & Growth: 401(k) match, profit sharing, and abundant growth and development opportunities to help you advance your career.
  • Parental Leave: Because we care about your family and your future.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000. This role qualifies for a sales incentive plan. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
