Full Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager will be leading strategic sales efforts to align Eaton sales resources and product lines to support Amazon business units directly, with concentration on global procurement team, construction, engineering and facility maintenance. They will be responsible for developing and implementing plans for developing sales growth of Eaton's Critical Power and Distributed IT solutions for Net IG (AWS), Columbia Tech (Amazon Robotics) and other targeted accounts.

The Strategic Account Manager is tasked with the achievement of sales plan goals, ensuring customer intimacy and satisfaction, driving market share gains and ensuring the effective ROI of sales and marketing investment strategies. This person will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies and programs for any electrical sector products & services, as well as adjacent Eaton data center product lines (B-line, cable trays, etc.)

In this function you will:
• Support sales of electrical sector products and services to meet revenue and margin objectives with assigned partners
• Identify and develop areas for growth across all Eaton divisions with assigned accounts; develop relationships with key leadership and works closely across Eaton divisions to improve engagement and sales growth
• Serve as the executive liaison between Eaton and assigned accounts at all levels of the organizations; incumbent must facilitate negotiations and coordinate executive communications to reach optimal resolution for both Eaton and assigned accounts
• Provide coaching and engagement with leadership to develop and implement sales plans, manage conflict and drive change of behavior to achieve sales growth targets and address market gaps
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and North American Sales (NAS) to coordinate and resolve issues and roadblocks
• Take ownership of driving change to improve processes and effectiveness that will eliminate roadblocks to sales growth and engagement; drive all elements to completion and full resolution by working independently
• Drive improvement of managing spend, training, use of Eaton tools and programs to improve sales growth and optimize ROI
• Serve in a lead role in executive presentations and report-outs for both Eaton and assigned accounts
• Transform voice of customer into value propositions and leading sales/marketing tools, work closely with product marketing/management and marketing communication team

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum seven (7) of electrical industry sales and/or marketing experience
• No relocation is offered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
• Experience aligning strategy with key stakeholders
• Knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations and employee development
• Knowledge of products, product applications and distribution channels

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $167,250 - $245,300.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
