Strategic Account Executive
Locations: Greater Orlando, FL | Greater Philadelphia, PA | Washington, D.C. / Northern Virginia Compensation: $70,000-$120,000 base (based on experience) plus commissions Job Type: Full-time
Position Summary
We're seeking experienced, highly motivated Strategic Account Executives to grow and maintain institutional and corporate partnerships across three key markets: Greater Orlando, Greater Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia - with a strong focus on expanding into higher-education institutions and healthcare facilities.
This is a hands-on, in-market leadership role - not entry-level. Expect to spend significant time in the market: visiting clients and prospects on-site, attending industry events, and building relationships face-to-face. We're looking for candidates with real experience driving growth and retention in the restoration industry, comfortable managing everything from one-on-one client relationships to complex institutional partnerships with multiple stakeholders - ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably while meeting client and carrier expectations.
What You'll Do
• Prospect Identification - Research and identify potential customers and decision-makers, with a particular focus on higher-education and healthcare facilities.
• Lead Qualification - Qualify inbound leads by understanding client needs and aligning them with our solutions.
• Outbound Outreach - Execute targeted prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and social media.
• Engagement - Build rapport with prospects and position Unlimited Restoration as the partner who's already on it.
• In-Market Presence - Regularly visit clients and prospects on-site, attend industry events, and represent URI face-to-face across your market - this role lives on the road as much as behind a desk.
• Pipeline Management - Maintain accurate records and manage leads within the CRM system.
• Collaboration - Work closely with sales, operations, and marketing to refine outreach and ensure seamless handoffs.
Leadership
• Represent Unlimited Restoration in the local business, insurance, and facility management community.
• Partner with operations on communications, relationship management, and account support (including collections) as needed.
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement - in your own work and in how you support the team.
Our Core Values - What We're Looking For
We hire and lead by five core values, and we're looking for someone who already lives them:
• Truth - Courageous conversation. Speak openly, minimize politics, be willing to disclose. Truth controls action.
• Direction - A shared sense of destination and what success looks like. Common goals over individual wins.
• Growth - Continual learning and development. When our people stop growing, we stop growing.
• Perseverance - Depth of commitment to see things through - in our values and in our work.
• Accountability - Clearly sets and communicates expectations; owns outcomes; keeps commitments; no blame, no excuses. Understand it, own it, do it.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered in place of a degree.
• Preferred: 5+ years of proven success in outside sales, business development, or account management - ideally within restoration, construction, insurance, or commercial property services.
• Will also consider: 2-3 years of experience with demonstrated fast-track performance.
• Demonstrated track record of building a book of business, including complex, multi-stakeholder institutional accounts.
• Working knowledge of the insurance claims process; experience with adjusters, carriers, and facility managers strongly preferred.
• Existing relationships or experience selling into higher-education or healthcare facilities is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence to lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to work extended/irregular hours, respond to emergencies, and travel regularly within your market.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Performance Competencies
• Confident, executive-level presence; builds trust quickly with senior stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
• Equally effective meeting clients in person and working behind a desk
• Strong computer literacy and CRM fluency
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; manages a full pipeline independently
• Sound judgment and steady decision-making under pressure
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will:
• Meet or exceed assigned annual revenue and new business growth targets.
• Open and grow new accounts in the higher-education and healthcare verticals, alongside commercial and industrial relationships.
• Grow and retain an institutional/corporate portfolio, with measurable improvement in client retention year over year.
• Consistently hit monthly and quarterly pipeline KPIs.
• Manage complex relationships before, during, and after a loss - building confidence with customers, adjusters, and consultants through consistent execution.
