Position SummaryWe're looking for an experienced business-development professional from an
adjacent facility or property service industry - someone who already has strong relationships with the facility and property decision-makers URI works with every day, and can bring that network and credibility to a new category of opportunity.
This is a hands-on, in-market role, translating relationships you've already built into preparedness, capital improvement, and restoration opportunities for URI. Success depends less on restoration-industry background and more on the strength of your network, your consultative selling ability, and how quickly you can apply that experience to a new but related service.
Ideal Candidate BackgroundPriority backgrounds include, but aren't limited to: integrated facility services; HVAC and mechanical services; janitorial services; roofing and building envelope; environmental and indoor air quality; duct cleaning; commercial construction; engineering; security; and energy management or other outsourced campus services.
Priority candidates already have established relationships with facility executives, physical plant leaders, risk managers, procurement professionals, and property decision-makers - especially within higher education, healthcare, industrial, and large commercial organizations.
What You'll Do- Relationship Activation - Leverage your existing network to open doors for URI, particularly within higher-education, healthcare, industrial, and large commercial organizations.
- Consultative Selling - Understand a prospect's operational and property risks, and position URI's preparedness, capital improvement, and restoration capabilities as part of the solution.
- Prospect Identification - Identify additional decision-makers within your network's organizations who influence property, facilities, or risk decisions.
- In-Market Presence - Regularly meet clients and prospects on-site and attend industry events - this role lives on the road as much as behind a desk.
- Pipeline Management - Maintain accurate records and manage leads within the CRM system.
- Collaboration - Work closely with sales, operations, and marketing to translate relationships into qualified opportunities and ensure seamless handoffs.
Leadership- Represent Unlimited Restoration in the local business, facilities, and property management community.
- Partner with operations on communications, relationship management, and account support (including collections) as needed.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement - in your own work and how you support the team.
Our Core Values - What We're Looking ForWe hire and lead by five core values, and we're looking for someone who already lives them:
- Truth - Courageous conversation. Speak openly, minimize politics, be willing to disclose. Truth controls action.
- Direction - A shared sense of destination and what success looks like. Common goals over individual wins.
- Growth - Continual learning and development. When our people stop growing, we stop growing.
- Perseverance - Depth of commitment to see things through - in our values and in our work.
- Accountability - Clearly sets and communicates expectations; owns outcomes; keeps commitments; no blame, no excuses. Understand it, own it, do it.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered in place of a degree.
- 7+ years of business-development or sales experience in an adjacent facility or property service industry (see Ideal Candidate Background above).
- Proven consultative selling ability and technical credibility with facility and property professionals.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence to lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Must currently reside within one of the listed territories (Greater Orlando; Greater Philadelphia, including Central/Southern New Jersey or Northern Delaware; or Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia); relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
- Willingness to work extended/irregular hours, respond to emergencies, and travel regularly within your market.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Performance Competencies- Confident, executive-level presence; builds trust quickly with senior stakeholders
- Strong learning agility - able to apply existing relationships and sales skill to a new service category
- Equally effective meeting clients in person and working behind a desk
- Strong computer literacy and CRM fluency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; manages a full pipeline independently
- Sound judgment and steady decision-making under pressure
