FULL-TIME STORE MANAGER. The Quesnel branch offer Agro, Petroleum and C-Store in one location. Location: Quesnel, BC
Job Overview: Reporting to the Ag and Energy Division Manager you'll be involved in:
- Working with the Agro store team, plan and direct day-to-day operations
- Overseeing talent acquisition, engagement, performance management and succession planning for the Agro store
- Guiding the store in the execution of goals, objectives, policies and procedures for efficient, effective and safe operations
- Maintaining Four Rivers Co-op's high standards for customer service and ensuring consistent brand aligned customer experience
- Lead, coach and motivate staff to improve productivity, engagement, and retention
- Promoting the Four Rivers Co-op Health and Safety Program
- Ensuring the procedures for the delivery of merchandise and chemical/fertilizer are adhered to
- Responsible for accurate inventories, complying with proper classification and authorization of invoices
- Ensuring compliance to all legislative and regulatory requirements as well as organizational and commodity programs and policies
What You Bring:- Possess a post-secondary education in a related field
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in Agriculture retail preferably at a leadership level
- Proven ability to control operational costs, maximize operation efficiencies and improve growth margins
- Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 6-10 employees
- You hold a valid class 5 or better driver's license with a clean abstract
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ability to learn specialized software quickly
- You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
