Full Job Description
The Role
As a Store Director at Mejuri, you are a dynamic and inspiring leader who drives business performance through exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, strategic thinking, and people leadership. Acting as the business owner of your location, you are responsible for identifying opportunities, influencing market strategy, and making decisions that drive sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term success for your store and surrounding market. Reporting to the Multi Site Leader, you will be responsible for growing brand awareness, delivering strong financial results, and cultivating a high-performing, engaged team culture within your store and local market.

You lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, balancing business strategy with people leadership to create a high-performing and customer-centric environment. You champion Mejuri's values and foster an inclusive culture where both customers and team members feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. As the ultimate ambassador of the Mejuri brand, you are accountable for delivering elevated customer experiences while overseeing all aspects of store performance including sales, operations, merchandising, talent, and profitability.

You are energized by developing people, celebrating wins, and continuously identifying opportunities to elevate team performance, engagement, and business results. You understand how to translate brand vision into meaningful customer experiences and know how to coach teams to consistently deliver elevated, relationship-driven service.

What You'll Do

Customer & Business Performance
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall financial performance of the store by exceeding sales and operational targets.
  • Lead by example in delivering Mejuri's customer experience model (STACK) and ensure consistency through coaching, training, and accountability across all customer interactions.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering a high-energy, customer-first environment.
  • Champion service offerings including piercing, engraving, and other in-store experiences to enhance customer engagement and drive conversion.
  • Analyze business performance and implement action plans to improve results across sales, customer experience, and productivity metrics.

Key Metrics: Revenue, NPS, Conversion Rate (CVR), OPH, SPH, customer experience performance

Operations & Inventory Management
  • Oversee all day-to-day operational functions to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and seamless execution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support inventory management, cycle counts, and monthly inventory processes.
  • Ensure smooth back-of-house operations, including order fulfillment, BOPIS, packaging standards, and customer delivery timelines.
  • Maintain organization and operational integrity across inventory, supplies, packaging, and stockroom standards.
  • Leverage retail systems and technology to optimize operational performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Mitigate internal, external, and administrative shrink through strong operational controls and team accountability.
  • Identify risks, operational gaps, and process inefficiencies, escalating and resolving issues with urgency.

Key Metrics: Shrink, EBITDA, Inventory Accuracy, IS Receiving Time, Time to Pack

Merchandising & Brand Presentation
  • Uphold Mejuri's visual merchandising standards to ensure an elevated and consistent brand experience.
  • Monitor assortment performance and partner on replenishment strategies to maximize sell-through and productivity.
  • Execute retail campaigns, signage, and window displays with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain the condition and functionality of all fixtures, displays, graphics, and decor elements.
  • Coach store teams on visual merchandising standards and updates to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Proactively identify and address merchandising opportunities and operational inefficiencies.

Key Metrics: SKU Representation, Visual Execution Accuracy & Timeliness

People Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team by ensuring the right talent is in the right roles at the right time.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusivity, recognition, and continuous development.
  • Support onboarding and training initiatives to ensure team members are set up for success and compliant with learning requirements.
  • Drive engagement through regular coaching, performance conversations, and development planning.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning and scheduling practices that support both business needs and employee experience.
  • Partner with People Operations to manage employee relations matters and uphold compliance standards.
