Assign daily tasks to staff and reallocate as needed
Accept and tag fast tracks for sterile processing

Description:
Very large, busy state-of-the-art reprocessing center providing sterile processing services for multiple facilities.
Supervises and coordinates the staff and daily operations of sterile processing services.
Ensures staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures.
Ensures sterilization activities are properly documented and participates in the maintenance of department records.
Serves as a liaison between the sterile processing department and perioperative areas, coordinating activities and resolving problems as they arise.
Ensures proper care and handling of all instrumentation received through the decontamination area.
Responsible for accepting and tagging of fast tracks.
Assigns employees to their job tasks daily and reallocates them as needed.
Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds is required.
Manual dexterity and the ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods of time are required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and follow oral and/or written instructions is required.
Scrubs provided must be laundered on-site.
Shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard must be covered.
No nail polish is allowed.
