Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $35.04 - $47.30 / hour
The STEMI Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the (STEMI) program. This position coordinates multidisciplinary efforts to ensure rapid, evidence-based care for STEMI patients across the continuum, including emergency medical services (EMS), emergency departments, transfer centers, catheterization laboratories, cardiovascular units, and physician stakeholders. The coordinator oversees performance metrics, regulatory readiness, accreditation standards, quality improvement initiatives, and physician/provider engagement to optimize clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. The STEMI Coordinator manages concurrent data and feedback to all teams involved in the STEMI process. This position ensures guideline care delivery for the STEMI patient in the Lee Health System is occurring and leads process improvement initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders in the process.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's preferred, must obtain within 2yrs of hire.
Experience: Five years of Cath Lab experience required.
Certification: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
License: State of Florida RN license or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS)
