Staffing - Occupational Health Nurse III | Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States Staffing - Occupational Health Nurse III (Onsite, North Carolina) Location: Concord, NC (Primary), with travel to Trivium, Newton, Hickory, Winston Salem, Wilmington About the Role: Join Corning as an Occupational Health Nurse III and play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team across multiple North Carolina sites. Responsibilities: - Deliver prompt, effective nursing assessments and treatments for employee injuries and illnesses within the RN scope of practice - Accurately document all care and maintain medical records compliant with OSHA and privacy standards - Guide employees and coordinate with insurers, Corning Benefits, Workers' Compensation, and medical providers through the disability and absence management process - Facilitate early, safe return-to-work accommodations using Corning's PIIM program - Track, manage, and review FMLA requests in accordance with legal and company protocols - Conduct regulatory surveillance exams and health screenings as required - Support emergency response programs and participate actively in company wellness and safety initiatives - Engage in pandemic preparedness planning and health promotion activities (e.g., flu shots, fitness programs) - Manage medical inventory and liaise with external healthcare providers as needed Required Skills and Experience: - Active and current RN license (North Carolina) - Minimum 5 years of registered nurse experience, with occupational health experience preferred - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) - Current CPR certification - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and EMR systems - Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Skills: - Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) - Experience in emergency room, ICU, or med/surg settings - Health and safety program promotion creativity - Previous work in manufacturing or corporate health environments Benefits: - Highly competitive hourly pay range: $31.61 - $52.51/hour (supplier rates may vary) - Opportunity to work across diverse corporate and manufacturing environments - Exposure to advanced occupational health programs and case management - Participation in Corning's 24/7 Safety & Health initiatives and wellness benefits - Professional development opportunities within a Fortune 500 company How to Apply: Ready to advance your occupational health nursing career in a thriving corporate environment?
