WHAT YOU'LL DO- Lead development for an end to end solution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
- Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications, especially within a distributed systems context
- Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
- Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of post-grad industry experience, including but not limited to electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering
- A passion for systems design development, integration, and test
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience
- Experience developing automated test scrips and frameworks using a common language (eg. Python, MATLAB, etc)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and execution, and excitement to work onsite at our headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA the rest of the time!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Already hold a U.S. Secret security clearance, or higher
- Hands on experience with complex robotic systems
- Familiarity with IP-Based networks
- Experience with mission systems, including communications systems and components
- Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations
US Salary Range
$191,000-$253,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
