What You'll Do:

Survey Responsibilities:

  • Perform survey computations, data processing, and CAD drafting for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
  • Assist in preparing plats, legal descriptions, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and easement exhibits.
  • Interpret deeds, plats, and title documents to support boundary analysis.
  • Support field crews with technical guidance and quality control of collected data.
  • Maintain accurate records of field notes, digital files, and project documentation.
  • Participate in QA/QC reviews and ensure deliverables meet technical and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate with project managers and clients to clarify scope and resolve technical issues.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal technical development initiatives.

Engineering Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal and land development projects.

  • Assist with roadway rehabilitation, utility infrastructure, water and sewer improvements, and site development projects.

  • Perform engineering analyses and calculations related to grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.

  • Support development plan reviews for compliance with local zoning, engineering, and infrastructure requirements.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Combination of office and field work.

  • Field assignments may involve exposure to varying weather and terrain conditions.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.

  • Willingness to work in remote locations and potentially rugged terrain.

  • Valid driver’s license with ability to drive.

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $85,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
