- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with full stack development, including backend distributed systems and experience in directly managing people.
- Experience in testing, and launching distributed systems, storage and related software products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing engineers who design and model the planet-scale networks powering Google's services and those of the Cloud customers.
- Define and drive the team's technical goal, strategy, and roadmap for Modeling Infrastructure, exercising strong technical judgment.
- Actively participate in and guide architectural and design decisions for scalable and reliable service deployments.
- Manage project priorities and resources effectively, ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions in a fluid, ambiguous environment.
