Full Job Description
Staff Sales Analytics Engineer
Job Description

The Revenue Analytics Engineer owns the data foundation that powers Butterfly's commercial team. You'll build and maintain the reports, dashboards, and data integrations that Sales, Sales Ops, and Commercial leadership depend on - while also owning the CRM data quality that makes those analytics trustworthy. This role sits at the intersection of analytics engineering and revenue operations, and requires someone comfortable working both in the data layer and directly with Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and Sigma dashboards for commercial stakeholders
  • Manage embedded Sigma analytics within Salesforce
  • Own CRM data hygiene - partnering with Sales Ops, Sales Leaders, and reps to ensure data is accurate and complete
  • Manage Data Cloud integrations pulling from the Databricks data lake into Salesforce
  • Handle ad hoc commercial reporting requests
  • Support AI initiatives tied to Sales activity, commercial strategy, and company OKRs
Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
  • 5+ years of experience in BI and analytics, with hands-on proficiency in Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable modern BI platform
  • 5+ years of SQL experience in a data warehouse or data lake environment (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce-heavy environment - either as a report analyst or administrator, or as a BI/analytics engineer embedded in a CRM-centric organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, and business stakeholders to drive data quality and CRM hygiene at scale

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):
  • Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Jira in an agile delivery environment
  • Hands-on experience building AI automations, skills, or agents
