Job Description
We are looking for a project engineer to join the NGI Operations and Sustainment (O&S) IPT as the Silo Execution Lead. In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
• Work with planning, CAMs, engineering, SEIT, WSI, production, and other NGI IPTs to ensure Silo IMS is comprehensive and accurately reflects the effort needed to accomplish O&S Silo scope
• Work with planning and Subcontract Management to ensure major supplier activities are properly reflected in program IMS and identify any issues in planned subcontractor approach or logic
• Use IMS as source of truth to work with primary POC's to ensure closure of tasks to complete major milestones.
• Organize, chair, and drive all schedule-focused meetings (weekly status, silo execution, risk review, etc.).
• Lead efforts to ensure execution of Silo scope. Drive actions and tasks to closure to meet all milestones. Collaborate with broader engineering and functional support teams to stay green and, if necessary, help develop and implement Return to Green efforts.
• Assess schedule against emerging issues and communicate to Silo PM to ensure awareness of potential risks to schedule.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combined experience
Experience working in a high complexity system environment; demonstrated experience leading schedule execution for multi disciplinary programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or Open Plan and collaborative platforms (MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence).
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex schedule information to senior leadership and external vendors.
Self starter. Requires little direction to execute responsibilities.
Desired skills
Experience on missile defense programs
Analytical problem-solving capability; data-driven decision making for root-cause analysis of schedule slippages and supply-chain bottlenecks
Vendor-schedule coordination experience: ability to align external supplier delivery timelines with internal program schedules and manage performance dashboards
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
