Description

The Staff Project Engagement Specialist executes field-based outreach and serves as a primary point of contact for community stakeholders during projects. The Staff Project Engagement Specialist delivers timely construction notifications, documents and tracks issues, and maintains consistent on-site presence to support access coordination and issue resolution.
  • Execute door-to-door engagement and stakeholder outreach for projects.
  • Update, deliver, and explain construction notifications, including schedules, access impacts, and restoration timelines.
  • Maintain on-site presence during a project to address questions and concerns.
  • Document stakeholder feedback, concerns, and resolutions accurately.
  • Prepare daily and weekly field reports summarizing outreach activities and issues.
  • Coordinate with project teams to make sure there is consistent messaging.
  • Identify recurring concerns and recommend outreach or mitigation improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with company and project site safety policies, protocols, and training requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent and 8 years related experience required.
  • Or, associate degree in a related field and 6 years related experience.
  • Or, bachelor's degree in communications, planning, public affairs, or related field and 4 years related experience required.
  • Experience in outreach, community engagement, or field-based roles required.
  • Experience documenting issues and managing follow-ups in Client Relationship Management or other tracking tools required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work outside and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel to project sites, as required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Compensation

$40.00-46.00 Hourly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The final agreed upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of an hourly pay rate and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
