Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Program Manager to join the Product and Technology Core Services team, focusing on the Onboarding pillar. The Onboarding pillar is responsible for building a unified, scalable architecture that accelerates content and partner onboarding, empowers self-service through standardization, and ensures robust governance of BHN’s master data. 

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving initiatives that reduce onboarding time-to-launch, streamline operations through automation, and enforce data quality and compliance standards. Reporting to the Director of Core Services Program Management, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to orchestrate large-scale programs that enhance client onboarding experiences, reduce time to revenue, and support our continued growth across channels. You will play a critical role in shaping the onboarding foundation that powers BHN's products and platforms, ensuring we scale with confidence while maintaining operational excellence.  

Responsibilities
  • Program Orchestration: Lead end-to-end orchestration of significant initiatives spanning multiple product lines and teams 
  • Outcome-Driven Leadership: Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to drive strategic programs with clear focus on business outcomes and customer impact, supporting our journey in the Product Operating Model 
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Maintain the rigor and hygiene of the Product lifecycle for the Content pillar - including content, partner, and data onboarding workflows - ensuring scalability, consistency, and compliance 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted partner to Product, Design, and Engineering teams, serving as a sounding board and holding them accountable to design great products 
  • Governance and Risk Management: Lead program governance, including risk management, and cross-team dependencies. Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks and dependencies across the organization. 
  • Process Optimization: Champion process improvements and automation across onboarding workflows, using data and KPIs (e.g., onboarding time, adoption, data quality) to evaluate progress, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership, continuously prioritize to define Onboarding roadmaps, set milestones, and track progress against key metrics; balance competing priorities effectively to deliver on commitments  
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in program & project management
  • 3+ years proven experience in leading highly complex, enterprise-wide initiatives 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience 
  • Proven track record overseeing large-scale initiatives spanning product lines, driving outcomes and aligning solutions 
  • Strong operational excellence, with experience driving improvements across product lines and implementing scalable processes 
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage dependencies across teams and product lines 
  • Solid technical acumen and domain expertise; able to partner with product, engineering and design leaders to align on architectural considerations 
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies; proficiency with program management tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jira Align, etc.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools to improve personal and team performance.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments space preferred

Benefits

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $138,140.00 to $186,500.00

Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $113,300.00 to $152,971.00

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays throughout the year 2026, sick pay accrual according to state law, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
