Position: Staff Product Manager

Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Drives technology orientation and product development by applying knowledge of competitive technology landscapes; existing portfolios of enterprise systems, technologies, services, and architectures; common PaaS and IaaS environments; software quality assurance methodologies, tools, processes, and checkpoints; and emerging technology and industry trends. Demonstrates an understanding of InfoSec policies and processes; owns business and user acceptance testing for simple products and features; independently represents technology requirements and drives technology design outcomes; and demonstrates an understanding of product architecture, involved services, and the database and cloud technologies used. Leverages knowledge of competitor products and services for assigned products and drives informed discussions with engineering teams and stakeholders to assess feasibility and risks and to prioritize efforts, features, and capabilities. Builds and owns simple product roadmaps with proper phasing; communicates with cross-functional partners and stakeholders; explores alternative avenues to identify resources while navigating organizational constraints and dependencies; builds stakeholder alignment; independently manages backlog and priority tradeoff and communications; manages product and feature rollouts and scaling using an MVP approach; and iteratively optimizes the product. Researches and verifies customer needs and expectations; delivers customer value within the parameters of profitability and other targets; builds and maintains consistent customer connections and solicits feedback; creates customer journeys and identifies touchpoints; addresses gaps and risks in product experiences; and simplifies and improves processes to drive customer satisfaction. Owns simple customer problems and product requirements by articulating problem statements and hypotheses; assists in building new ideas and products; explores new focus areas for value creation using first principles; develops long-term vision; guides teams toward prototypes; effectively communicates product strategy, vision, and unit economics; and understands go-to-market strategies and levers for user adoption. Conducts product and feature analytics with minimal guidance; monitors, collects, and structures data; evaluates results; supports the identification and application of tools and techniques; and assists in planning, designing, and implementing exploratory data analysis. Communicates effectively in stakeholder meetings involving multiple teams; conveys complex information and addresses ambiguity to support robust technology development; influences team members and stakeholders with sound recommendations; prepares clear, concise, and logically structured materials; seeks and provides constructive feedback; anticipates needs and responds appropriately. Demonstrates awareness of domain-specific methodologies, tools, processes, products, and market standards; compares the maturity of products, services, and processes across subdomains; identifies areas of innovation and shares potential improvements with leadership; drives innovation initiatives; and recommends new processes, automation opportunities, and ways of working across subdomains.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in product management or a related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field plus 7 years of post-bachelor's progressively responsible experience in product management or related experience or a related field.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Building product roadmap and prioritizing features for rollouts; Working with business owners/operators to sequence and map the interactions across business processes; Building quantitative metrics and mechanisms that define and monitor the success of the product; Providing engineering and data science teams with the correct set of validation criteria (functional or data) to ensure that releases deliver the targeted outcomes and experiences; Working with upstream/downstream product teams to ensure points of friction across products are identified and resolved ahead of time; Resolving conflicts in outcomes and processes; Partnering with data scientists to implement optimization models and predictive models; Replenishment systems, merchandising and inventory health; Influencing large stakeholder group by conducting data analysis using SQL, Tableau, or Excel to identify trends in inventory health; Finding data to write business cases and ROI analyses to support product initiatives. Rate of pay: $110,000.00 - 220,000.00/year
