Full Job Description
Join our Finance Applications team as an experienced Product Manager. This role is crucial to our mission of driving automation across our integrated suite of enterprise systems and technologies. As the Staff Product Manager, Finance Systems, you will be the expert for our financial technology ecosystem, encompassing procurement platforms (Zip, Coupa), the ERP system (NetSuite), and other financial applications. A successful candidate will have proven expertise and a strong track record across all core financial processes, including Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger Accounting, and Financial Reporting. At Reddit, you will contribute to the design and implementation of product enhancements and initiatives within the Finance Applications team, part of the Corporate Technology organization. Your main responsibility will be to architect and develop solutions that streamline processes, minimize risk, and strengthen our financial operations. Success in this role demands a highly collaborative and energetic approach to solving technical problems, paired with a commitment to both meticulous documentation and rigorous, ruthless prioritization in a fast paced environment. A core responsibility is setting clear strategic direction, including prioritizing short, mid, and long-term objectives. You will closely collaborate with our finance and accounting teams to define business needs for scalable technical solutions that support Reddit's growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business systems analysts to design effective technology solutions for optimizing finance business processes. You will be a part of an agile and close-knit team dedicated to delivering value to our internal customers and fellow teammates. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with leadership, PMs, and finance stakeholders to develop and implement the product roadmap for Zip, Coupa, Workiva, NetSuite, and other financial applications, fostering a positive work environment. • Document and analyze current Procure-to-Pay (Coupa and Zip) business processes, conduct fit/gap analyses, and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Own platform management, including technical debt reduction, release upgrade coordination, and issue resolution for Zip, Coupa, Ironclad, NetSuite, and other finance platforms. • Proactively explore and implement new capabilities within the Procure-to-Pay systems space. • Work strategically with business teams to translate needs into scalable, secure solutions that meet business needs across Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Accounting to support Reddit's growth. • Drive complex project execution through effective task allocation, milestone tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. • Demonstrate the ability to consistently meet critical deadlines and prioritize the simultaneous delivery of multiple, high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal system performance and product utilization. • Quickly learn new technologies, develop creative solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Lead major cross-functional initiatives and projects, including system implementations, operational improvements, and new product rollouts. • Create product management artifacts - Functional Specifications, Data Flow Diagrams and Business Process Mapping Diagrams • Identify and Design scalable solutions in Zip, NetSuite, and other applications, including customizations, workflows, automations, integrations and reporting solutions • Collaborate with business system analysts and engineers across multiple teams to develop and implement automations and technical solutions • Develop and execute test plans for identified features, lead integration and user acceptance testing with cross-functional teams • Troubleshoot and fix production issues, prioritizing them against the existing backlog based on severity and impact • Support key month-end and quarter-end close processes, providing hands-on assistance as needed. • Conduct solution walkthroughs, application demos and user training sessions • Support change management documentation including runbooks • Ensure SOX compliance by working with internal and external auditors on technical walkthroughs and system controls.
