Job Description

Role Overview

As a Staff Product Designer, you will sit at the intersection of zero-to-one innovation and high-velocity optimization. This role is designed for a visionary executor who can architect the future of our 'Achieve Innovation' product suite through advanced prototyping, while simultaneously anchoring the visual and UX standards that drive our growth and experimentation engine.

You won't just be designing screens, you will be designing systems, logic, and interactive experiences that redefine how consumers manage their financial lives.

What You'll Drive?

UX Prototyping & Interactive Logic
  • Rapid Innovation: Lead the design of "Innovation Products" by building high-fidelity, logic-driven prototypes that simulate complex user journeys (e.g., AI-driven liability managers or automated debt-restructuring flows).
  • Behavioral Modeling: Use tools like Protopie, Figma, or Framer to test advanced interactions that move beyond simple 'click-throughs', allowing stakeholders and users to feel the product's intelligence.
  • Validation: Translate abstract product concepts into tangible prototypes used for stakeholders alignment and early research.

Usability & Research-Driven Optimization
  • Growth Experimentation: Support our growth and optimization engine by designing A/B and multivariate tests focused on funnel efficiency, conversion, and user retention.
  • Continuous Feedback: Partner with Research and BI to conduct usability testing on both new concepts and existing features. You are expected to interpret qualitative friction and turn it into quantitative lift.

Visual Design & Systems Thinking
  • High-Craft Execution: Define and maintain a sophisticated visual language that balances financial trust with tech agility and business needs.
  • Brand-to-Product Continuity: Ensure that the visual journey from brand campaigns and marketing landing pages to product dashboards feels like a seamless, high-integrity experience.
  • Design System Contribution: Act as a contributor to our design system, ensuring that visual components are scalable, accessible, and aesthetically cohesive across all business units.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring?
  • Level: 6+ years of experience designing and shipping impactful and creative consumer web products, with a portfolio that shows both large-scale system design and deep-dive interaction prototyping.
  • A Hybrid Mindset: You are equally comfortable in a room brainstorming a brand-new product from scratch as you are in a spreadsheet reviewing conversion data for a button-color test.
  • Consumer centricity: Strong UX design judgement to compel and engage consumers paired with pragmatic sense of how to implement for efficient development and business/consumer impact.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AI tools, Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools.
  • Communication: Ability to tell 'executive-ready' narratives. You can explain the why behind a pixel-perfect design in the context of business KPIs.

Why This Role?

This is a unique opportunity to own the full spectrum of product design. You will have the 'innovation and discovery sandbox' to build the future of fintech, while also seeing the immediate, real-world impact of your work through our massive growth and optimization funnel.

Achieve well-being with:
  • 401 (k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision with HSA and FSA options
  • Competitive vacation and sick time off, as well as dedicated volunteer days
  • Access to wellness support through Employee Assistance Program, physical and mental health wellness programs
  • Pet care discounts for your furry family members
  • Financial support in times of hardship with our Achieve Care Fund
  • A safe place to connect and a commitment to diversity and inclusion through our six employee resource groups

Salary Range: $160,000 to $180,000 annually + bonus + benefits.

This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
