Responsibilities

  • Join a growing division with a collaborative team of 7 physicians and 2 CRNPs
  • Provide primarily outpatient care in endocrine and diabetes clinics
  • Oversee inpatient consult services approximately 8-10 weeks per year
  • Teach and mentor trainees and students
  • Utilize comprehensive ancillary support, including nurses and dietitians
  • Participate in the management of an on-site Infusion Center

Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our vibrant and engaging Department of Pediatrics.

The Division has experienced consistent growth over the past five years and is expected to continue expanding as we advance excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Position Highlights:

  • A growing Division, currently comprised of 7 physicians (5 full-time)
  • 2 Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNPs)
  • Comprehensive ancillary support including dedicated administrative staff, 4 full-time diabetes nurse educators, 2 endocrine nurses, 2 dietitians, and 1 social worker
  • On-site Infusion Center within the Children's Hospital for endocrine stimulation testing
  • Newly constructed outpatient clinic facility
  • Primarily outpatient care in endocrine and diabetes clinics
  • Inpatient consult service responsibilities approximately 8-10 weeks per year
  • Teaching opportunities with trainees and students
  • Shared call schedule among physicians, supported by a strong triage system
