Job Summary

Plans, evaluates, and administers individualized physical therapy treatment programs for patients with injuries, illnesses, or muscle, nerve, joint, bone, and circulatory conditions. The Physical Therapist works to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent disability. Care is provided through comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions designed to optimize patient outcomes and promote a safe return to daily activities. The Physical Therapist collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and ensures all services are delivered in compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and accrediting agency standards.

Requirements: College graduate of Physical Therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Minnesota. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is optional. Requires competent written and verbal communication skills, be capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff. Ensure hospital, patient, resident and/or other related information is kept in a confidential manner. High degree of interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact, courtesy and positive approach methods. Demonstrated problem solving in routine and emergency situations.

Wage

Depending on your work experience, you could earn an annual salary of $82,725 up to $119,951.
