What a Great Candidate Looks Like:- US Citizenship required
- Comfortable with operating under FedRAMP, FISMA, IL4/5 in a highly regulated environment
- 8+ years of professional industry experience, including 2+ years at a SaaS startup
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep background with using Terraform/OpenTofu with a DRY methodology
- Very comfortable in AWS, AWS Govcloud experience is a plus
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration under Kubernetes / EKS is essential
- Preference for observability, operational performance with an AWS native services focus
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Good technical documentation ability
- Experience and comfort with Agile software development best practices
- Ability to work across teams with different priorities, which will include the need to be able to articulate blockers and dependencies
- Familiarity with programmatically setting up and configuring firewall instances (ex: Palo Alto)
- Familiarity with RDMBS systems, we are a Postgres shop
The Opportunity We OfferAs a Staff Infrastructure Engineer you will play a critical role in managing the infrastructure for Quantifind's applications and services. Our stack includes back-end services and infrastructure, machine learning modules surfaced through REST APIs, and React-based front-end web applications. As a member of our DevOps Team, you will have a big impact on how we build, automate, and scale our technology and processes. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, solving problems, automating deployments, and championing best practices.
Our technology includes: Ubuntu, Ganeti, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, git, Hadoop, Nagios, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, and in-house Scala and NodeJS applications. We deploy to our own data centers and to AWS.
Quantifind's development team is centered in Palo Alto, California, and we have technology hubs in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Washington, D.C. Quantifind is currently using a hybrid mix of working from home and in the office. Our preference is for Washington, D.C. based candidates.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000 to $220,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
